ABOUT THE CONSULTANT
Teneka Robinson
A Career Defined by Strategic Talent Ecosystems
I have spent twenty years inside the systems most education organizations struggle to align — the space between how educators are prepared and how districts actually hire, onboard, and keep them.
That work has taken me across major urban school systems, HBCUs and minority-serving institutions, and national nonprofit organizations. In each context, the structural problem was similar: recruitment, preparation, hiring, induction, and retention operating in parallel rather than in concert. The cost shows up in vacancies that persist, early-career teachers who leave before their third year, and district-university partnerships that generate activity without generating coherence.
My practice is built on closing that gap. I work with district executives, university leaders, and nonprofit partners to diagnose where their pipeline systems are misaligned and build the cross-sector structures needed to sustain educator talent over time. That means honest assessment, clear recommendations, and the kind of implementation support that translates strategy into operational change.
Across a multi-district initiative, implementation of an internal educator readiness toolkit — tracked over three years via Salesforce partnership data — increased school-based engagement with STEM industry partners by 60%. During the same period, participating institutions recorded growth in student enrollment in STEM-related majors at the postsecondary level.
I bring the same directness to every engagement — whether I'm advising a superintendent on induction redesign, a dean on preparation program alignment, or a foundation on where its workforce investment is most likely to hold.
If your pipeline systems are ready for that kind of examination, I'd welcome the conversation.
